Founded by husband and wife team James Mack & Caroline Meathrel-Mack, the business was started out of a mutual appreciation for good design and a desire to help small-to-medium businesses market themselves more effectively.
Our business exists because we want to help you. We want to see businesses succeed and grow – we believe that the best way to do this is through appealing branding, with a consistent marketing message.

James Mack, Managing Director
James is a specialist in global marketing and strategy. He has lived and worked in the UK, Japan and Australia and partnered with companies based in North America, South East Asia & Europe.
Prior to starting Masamune Digital, James was Asia-Pacific Marketing Manager for a global telecommunications company and before that, managed one of Melbourne’s most successful Lead Generation companies, delivering a diverse range of B2B marketing campaigns.
Caroline Meathrel-Mack, Creative Director
Caroline is the creative force behind Masamune Digital, a passionate illustrator, writer and digital artist.
She has sold and displayed work in Japan, the USA, the UK, Canada and Australia under her artist alias Polydesign Studio.
Prior to starting Masamune Digital, Caroline worked as a freelance graphic designer. Throughout her design career she has worked on projects for a diverse range of clients, including ABC Television, Pro Bono Australia and DGI Media.
